If you look further down on the first link it says: "Sony is in a final stage agreement with a top player in the industry... As I said, the news will break soon." and "It could very well be the biggest feather in Sony's cap yet. An instant console victory we feel if everything goes down as outlined."

It also says it isn't Square so I have no idea who it could be. Of course, this could all be bullshit.

If it's a rpg developer.. a top player.. and the biggest feather in sonys cap.. well..

There aren't really any other studios than square enix it could be ?

Unless youre a rpg fanatic and don't like their other awesome games ofcourse.

I think it'll be an exclusive deal between Sony and Rockstar judging by "Gamesblow's" latest posts. He mentions nothing about an RPG developer, I don't know where that came from. And he said it would be on a bigger scale than Call of Duty going Sony exclusive so I'm thinking Rockstar.

Of course, I'm still thinking this could all be bullshit.

It's this.

Now Playing: The Witcher (PC)

Consoles Owned: NES, SNES, N64, PS1, PS2, Wii, Xbox 360, Game Boy, DS

LOL @ people bringing in Sonys financials into this. IT CLEARLY SAYS 2ND PARTY. Buying a studio would make it 1st. oh lordy lord.

If it really is a big player in the RPG genre I could see an exclusive deal with Bethesda, otherwise if it isnt an RPG developer than I could easily see Rockstar as well.

There is a new entry in the twitter page.. which says

The company in question -- simply pulling their line up from the other consoles -- is enough to end the console war. Easily.

Look more like an extended exclusivity contract than complete buyout.. May be Sony is going to follow the MS way. :)

Well the only company capable of that would be Square Enix or Rockstar. Maybe Activision and that why they are complaining about the price of the PS3

Around the Network

Probably EA. Didn't EA make the most revenue on PS3 for one quarter? You can't ignore stats like that.

I thought we were passed the days when Gamesblow was taken seriously...
