Less than a week till I'm off to Glastonbury festival and I am ridiculously excited. Ita a great way to celebrate the end of my A-levels too!

Its my first year and although I have been to many music festivals like Reading and Womad, I can't wait to experience this which is widely stated as the biggest in the world.

I can't wait to see Blur, Madness, Kasabian, The Specials, and 2 Many Djs specifically : )

Ive heard of it and want to go badly damn it. I went to Glade in 2006 when i lived in London, which is an offshoot of the Glade dance area at Glastonbury, and it was fucking awesome fun.

Too expensive, shit its like 150 pounds for Glas. isn't it? Was 100 quid for Glade. But you will have fun, be careful what you put in your mouth and take LOTS of money.

Oh and gumboots, u know why.

Glade sounds incredible! I wanted to go this year but its 18+ and I'm 18 like 2 weeks or so after -_-, my dad, my brother, and their friends go every year cos my dad gets a couple free tickets as he is a photographer for it.

The ticket set me back £180 : (, and when you add that with another £180 ticket to Reading festival and a £90 ticket to Womad world music festival it = a very broke (but happy) me. Luckily I did some freelance work for a magazine 6 months back and the money has just come through so I have just enough left to take some money to last me each festival.

Also the weather at glasto this year is supposedly gonna be the best in ages so I'm gonna leave my wellies at home :)

Well actually my ex worked for Access All Areas in London so i worked for half of the time but got free tickets to Glade. They do/did a lost property thing and storage service at the event.

Thats a pretty dam cool job to have, although it would be frustrating if you went to a venue where your all time favourite band were playing but you had to stay on duty.

Also where abouts in London did you used to live?

Camden Town, gf's house, thats also where Access All Areas is. Also lived in Deptford for a bit.

AAA is dance music events, ticket sales etc. Hence the Glade relationship.

I'm in the south of London in Tooting, so I'm just down the Northern line from there : )
