Forums - Nintendo Discussion - Nintendo: Story will play a HUGE part in the new METROID

the metroid games have always had story in them but they were more aimed towards adventure/exploration. i would love a more in depth story in the next game as long as they don't lose the exploration side.

Yes because it's not as if Metroid was critically and commercialy renowned before the inclusion of scanning no, not at all.

Actually NightDragon, it's being handled by Project M, which is the normal Metroid Team and Director/Co-creator AND Team Ninja, who were brought into the project after being hand-picked, due to the teams lack of experience with 3D games and the realization that it would take more people to realize the game's vision.

So, yeah, back story and main plot line will all be (probably) the same guy/guys that always do them.

Boy, do I love alliances in game development!!!!
