To you fanboys I pity you for not opening up our eyes and allowing yourself to enjoy gaming to fullest. Each system is unique and offers different things. So bring it on fanboys. Attack me for i see no reason why i will not be reading hateful things eventually. |
My defenition of fanboy is a very big fan of something. It doesn't necessarily have to be negative towards other consoles. But that's semantics, so I consider myself a fanboy in my definition, but with your definition no.
I do criticize consoles though. I criticized the PS3's Sixaxis for not having any good use (although I learned through the responses that it's not Sony's or the PS3's fault but lazy devs who don't find practical and good application of it).
One system can be better than the rest either in your subjective opinion, or by means of an agreed upon objective criteria (but that criteria itself is subjective so in the end it's all subjective).
Why are you so against other people having an opinion? I don't think it's illogical to think, in your personal opinion, one console is better than the other. If the Xbox doesn't have a lot of games I want (and it doesn't, except for Mass Effect, and maybe a few gems I don't know about) then I'll obviously prefer the PS. If I value price, then the Xbox will be my prefered console.
It's perfectly fine to have an opinion, and to criticize other consoles. That's what this forum is for, to voice your opinions, whether or not they be positive or negative.

On a side note, I hate these fucking threads. I saw one in the G4 forum (which is absolute shit in the first place), after Adam Sessler (who can't fucking make up his mind and plan his videos and speeches before he goes on camera, ending up going on a chaotic ramble) bashed fanboys.
I don't know... it's like bashing nazis or KKK memebers in this day of age. It's cliche, it's fucking pretentious, and I hate it when everyone just nods their heads and go "Yeah! I agree!".
