Ahem, MGS2 on xbox anyone?

You're right, but I think that all the new games will be multiplatform instead of just a random one every once in a while.

Now that they'll have the game engine, there's no reason why they can't or even shouldn't go back into more multi-platform MGS games.

Granted the PC port of MGS could hardly be seen as a success, same for MGS2 on Xbox, but given the big time delay for the ports, it really shouldn't have been much of a surprise for either.

What's still interesting is the fact that they are doing the new engine from scratch, which does seem to support Kojima's claim that MGS4 couldn't have been done on the Xbox without essentially coding a PC/Xbox game engine to run it.

But this is still the first time a MGS game will be debuting on anything other than the PS exclusively, so that is still pretty big news.
