Guys, the dev team is unproven. Its a valid argument about pointing out the quality MGSR might turn out to be. It's very valid pointing out that MGSR is changing things up and it might upset the franchise. Sometimes trying new and different things backfires. the A team would be MGS4 team with BA as the crew chief. The B team would be Pro evo team. Since we already know what they can do. A new team doesn't just get recognition till they complete something to be judge on. Nope, they get a rank immediately. Ranks can always change.

Just like the Privates are still Privates the team will still be Rank C even if they are more skilled than the others until the launch something.

Jesus Christ. When I argue with you about the spinoff status of this game, you disagree with me wholeheartedly, but when Onyxmeth presents very similar arguments to what I did, you back down? How many times throughout the thread have I said that we should wait for more information before we pass judgement? 3? 4?

Right there I was talking about how MGSR wouldn't be a spin off. Basically if it ties into snakes story. Which I don't think it will. It will probablly have some mention of snake but I think this new series is going to go in Raidens story now. Thats why I think it'll be a spin off. And I already said this once in the thread so let me say it again. A spin off doesn't mean lower quality or less fun. It just means the main story line is branching away into a new story. (And almost everyone in this thread except a select few make it seem like Im saying since its a spin off itll be shitty.)

Alright, that makes sense to me. I said this earlier, but I think the crux of our argument is that we both have a different view of what a spinoff actually is. It's not that we disagree about anything important. I guess the only thing left to do is wait for more info.

Great now we know its not a spin-off. A lot of Sony fanboys attacked the 360 version.
