^ Dude catcus already showed you the definition of what spinoff is. You're just being thick headed. Pick up a dictionary and look up "Spin off" and while you're at it check up "chief" too.

I am not sure why this addition to the Metal Gear franchise is trying to be discredited. Regardless, it will be an addition to the Metal Gear franchise and considering how PS3 fans held Kojima as a master perfectionist for so long...I think we can all agree that Kojima will not allow an addition to a franchise he has nurtured and "perfected" unless he feels it meets his standards.

PS3 fans have always praised Kojima for his commitment to his work. Do you really think he will let a sub par product with the Metal Gear namesake release to the public? The Metal Gear franchise has become a reflection of Kojima's work ethic and commitment to his skill (according to the gospel of PS3 fans). Discrediting this addition to the franchise, is like discrediting Kojima himself.



I'm not a fanboy, I just try to tip the balance in favor of logic and common sense.

Who said anything about it being discredited? Its you guys who are trying to upplay this game. You guys can't handle the truth or something I don't know.
