i don't give a rats arse about the graphical quality the best rpg i have played this year is persona 4 , so as long as the textures load quick and we dont get that stupid shadow effect from last hope i'll be fine

i gotta say this is not a quantum leap tbh

oblivion had the same feeling these screens gave

the battle pics made it look retro again

kinda disappointing tbh, as a guy whos bored of ff, this did not get me back into it



Last year's game of the year turned out to be Silent Hill : Shattered Memories (online GOTY was COD 6).  This year's GOTY leader to me is Heavy Rain.

Graphics this, Graphics that!. How sad! JRPG doesn't need a great graphics. I am very frustrated right now. Damn! Go play CRYSIS or Killzone 2 if you guys want great graphics.

I didn't claim that 'there is nothing like it'. I don't think it's the best looking game on the horizon.

Edit: Unless, of course, you had meant to say: It's silly to claim that they are amazing and are actually nothing like those terrible screenshots.

To which I would reply: That's ridiculous. If the trailer looks considerably better than the screens, and they do, of course it'd be silly to judge it from captures that have been degraded in quality.

I was more referring to the OP and the Extreme FF fans who think if you don't consider FF13 teh best game eva with best graphics and best gameplay you are a hater. I despise that mentality and it's not just exclusive to the FF extreme crowd.

@ your second part I actually saw the E3 trailer on PSN on my HDTV and I think the game looks great defiantly with the big boys in terms of graphics and yes those screen shots are terrible but what I said is don't post terrible screens then claim they are amazing and start laughing at people for having different opinion


BTW I hate these graphical piss contests whether they are KZ2 vs Gears 2 or Forza 3 vs GT5 and this gen have been full of them. that's way I will shot down the most silly claims when I see them
