All these rumors always come from "some certain unnamed source." I will just wait for an official announcement. As for MGS4, it might get a port like other MGS games did. It would probably take a while for Konami to do the port, if Kojima is absolutely refusing to do a 360 version himself. If it cost Kojima his job at Konami, I'm sure he would have so much trouble finding another job /sarcasm.

 FFXIII will be the ultimate hardcore gamer's game.  If it comes out on the PS3 six months before the 360, any money that MS spent on the port will be a waste because it will sell like crap.  This is because people that play the game love it so much that they will buy the PS3 even if they know its coming to the cheaper Xbox later on.  On the other hand, if (and i mean IF because I dont think it will happen) MS can get a day and date release of FFXIII on the 360, people will purchase the significantly cheaper console to play the game.

 The PS3's userbase at the advent of MGS4 will not be very large and this games budget will not have been surpassed by any game bar K2 by the time it is released.  Konami doesn't want to break even on MGS4, they want to rake in millions of dollars in profit. MGS's history on PS2 has created the illusion in many peoples minds that the game can automatically make millions on any Sony console.  The truth is the game will not bring in the kind of cash that Konami wants on a userbase of less than 12 million, and that number is truly OPTOMISTIC for the PS3 by March next year.  This game will sell some systems, but nothing like Halo 3 or FFXIII.

Since FFXIII's biggest sales will be in Japan anyway a 360 port won't really matter much regardless.

 This is fast beoming a myth.  Around half of the last few FF games sales have come from the West. The 360 is currently outselling the PS3 in both Europe and America and has a much larger installed base.

 I have a copy of RE4 for the GC that has the "Only For" tag of exclusivity on it.  We now know how much that really meant.

 I know huh? The PS3 fanboys didn't think 360 only meant much when it was Eternal Sonata, Beautiful Katamari or Ace Combat.

 None of those games or franchises are synonymous with the Xbox brand....totally different comparisons. also, there was never nearly as much denial about those games' exclusivity.

 Sorry people, we are now holding all exclusivity conversations to the very high and specific standard of "level of denial."  The head of Konami said that they may have to consider "putting MGS4 on other consoles." Gee, that was a strong denial.
