Forums - Gaming - Greatest Aventure Game of all time revealed! By Megaman.2.

From the moment the controller sits in your hand, this game comes alive. Witness giant and sometimes majestical beasts roam vast landscapes its almost a shame to bring these creatures crashing to the ground but what an intense challenge. The size of these colossi is portrayed fantasticaly with clever camera angles. The detail in the scenary and the foe's is incredible for a ps2 game. This game is a must have, a masterpiece and no other adventure game can compare to the mighty Shadow of the Collusus.

This is my own opinion

After you've immersed yourself in Shadow of the colossus, you'll wonder why there aren't more games out there like this. A drop of pure light amongst the raging violence of the videogaming world. An artistic masterpiece in its own right!

So long as Majora's Mask and Okami exist, this just can't be true.

Ive never played any game mentioned in this thread so far.

At least you got the genre right this time

One of the few times that I find myself completely agreeing with you...weird

No offense Monti the games you mentioned are outstanding but not on the same level as Shadow of the collusus

iv played SotC and, though its a good game, i personall didnt like it that much. all you did was kill one colossi, watch a cut sceen, then go to the next. it was really short and didnt have that much going for it IMO. thats why i like zelda games and even okami more. there was actually more to do then the main quest. also i think they'er just better games.

Too bad this will be forgotten in 10 yrs.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Although I don't share your opinion, I respect it.

Pixel Art can be fun.

For me, many of the Zelda games, Okami, Grim Fandango and Monkey Island 1,2,3 figure higher on the list. But hey, its a very good game, just not as much "adventuring" to do as the games i mentioned above.
