Forums - Gaming - GT4 Versus GT5

So I beat GT5 prolouge about a week ago (god that last race is hard) and had nothing to do for a racing game i enjoy.  Seeing i have a 80gb ps3 with the memory card slots i decided to go out and get GT4 never playing it before hoping it would be as much fun as 5 but i gliched out a lot low and behold i went to my local sams club and got ps2 so it would work.  I find the game play very fun realistic espically for a last gen racer but i think the layout is terrible it kind of confusing were to go and in what order and i seems like i have to keep racing the beginner tracks over and over again just get enough money for lets say an american race with a vette.  My question is does anyone know or have any idea if Gt5 will stay with Gt5 prolouges set up with just simple c b a s classes or will it be like 4 and whatever way they go does anyone the same way i do and prefer 5 to 4.

I think it would do them a lot of good to do like 5 but im not japanese and never played Gt4 prolouge and don't if it was Gt5 prolouge and they changed it for the full game.

Please discuss

So is anyone going to talk

I dont think anyone knows yet what the final layout will look like for GT5, and I never played GT4P to know what it looked like but I am sure there is videos online or at least pictures of the interface. I personally wish they would go back to the way GT2 was with the HP limits for each race.

What way would you like if it was between 4 and five full version layouts

Why is this a topic before the game comes out?

@ ironman

maybe because he is wondering what the menu interface will look like. what does it matter to you? if you cant post on topic STFU & GTFO

@ Brun2003

If I had to pick it would be GT4, I liked the map layout. But the setup in GT5P will not be the same for GT5, its too simple, it was setup like that since there were only a few races in the game. One thing I would like to see again are qualifier runs before the races

thanks if it was like 4 that would be a huge let down

Yeah considering there will probably be over 200 different races in the game, splitting them up into 4 categories will not be very efficient, plus where would they put the manufacturers races? It will probably be alot like GT4's layout, but slightly refined.
