So I am trying to figure out a game to give for my friends birthday. He doesn't really know any games at the moment so I am thinking I could ask to see if anyone has any ideas of high quality games for the PS3. (he hasn't had it for very long)

He has really enjoyed god of war 1 and 2, Devil May Cry 3, and Okami. He has also played through final fantasy 7-9 and disgaea (although I think they might be too much of a time sink right now). He isn't a huge fan of shooters, so that makes it difficult since there are so many out there.

He was nice enough to give me RE5 for my birthday, I figure I should find something he likes.

Oh get him Heavenly Sword AND Folklore they should be like 20 dollars each new so it would be less than a new game and he'd get 2! also it sounds like these fit his taste very well.

It could be Uncharted...pretty much everybody can appreciate Uncharted.
Also, Uncharted 2 is coming this fall.
