I had no-doubt Sims 3 would sell a million copies in the first week and I believe it will go on to sell well over 10-15 million with all its expansions that are sure to come out. Well done to EA and the sims.

The thing is with PC games that they tend to have very very long legs and mostly all sell well over time, unlike console games that tend to sell very well in the first few months of release then die off.

But thats what the devs want to hear... they want to hear that their game has sold 2 million copies in the first 2 weeks than their PC game has sold 8 million over 10 years, you know what I mean.

PC gaming rules.....
