I disagree, and to me Nintendo is a complete failure when it comes to games this generation. I do give Ninty alot of credibility when they started though.

Miyamoto alone has brought more to gaming than Microsoft has.

Super Mario Galaxy-97% on metacritic, sold 8M copies
Super smash bros brawl 8.5M sales, 94% on metacritic
Metroid prime 3: 90% on metacritic, 1.6M sales
Zelda: the twilight princess 6.7M sales, 94% on metacritic?
Punch out!! 88% on metacritic
Mario kart DS: 91% on metacritic
Mario kart wii: 82% on metacritic(deserves higher, but not 90%)
Exite truck
Excite bots
Fire emblem: radiant dawn
That's not what I'd call epic failure.
And countless DS games.
I don't agree with most of those Mario scores. I seriously wish they would kill the franchise.
Fire Emblem/Zelda/Metroid is a + though. And a ocean full of shovelware doesn't help.
But like I said, this is "MY" opinion so it doesn't even matter.

i dont like sonys and MS's IPs
also all three of my consoles have broken down and i think nintendo's customer service is the best my warranty was expired for a week and they let me get it repaired for free sonys representative was rude and thought i was a idiot and MS hooked me up with a guy form India who could not speak English to save him self

This for me, I'd like to add that MS has been seriously money-hatting to get fans ;).
And I have never had a Nintendo system breaking down on me... how many appliances in your home have you replaced by now in the past 10 years? My N64 is still going strong...

None of them have really done anything for me. I give them money and they give me a service. It's an even exchange. If I had to choose, I'd say Microsoft has given me more free games (Undertow, Aegis Wing, etc.). Sony only gave me Ragdoll Kung-fu.

From all the Gens: I would say Sony as the PS1,PS2 and Yes PS3 brought some of the best gaming experiences we have and will ever see.
This Gen: Microsoft as much as I don't like their constant moneyhats their fans have been tasting the good life because of it.
