Army of Darkness: "Come get some" and "It's time to chew bubble gum and kick some ass - and I'm all out of bubble gum" were actual lines in the movie that were repeated in DN3D while the chainsaw and sawed-off shotgun made their way into Doom.


I don't think the inspiration for Doom was from that movie, rather from the first movies in the series. It could have been, but the release dates are really close.

So it seems, my memory is playing tricks on me because I got hold of ED3 in like 1999. And the chainsaw first was in ED2.

I agree with the Last Starfigher. Even though no game was made before or after it, I would say it was the best and only watchable video game movie.

the only part of the movie i dont like is the when the one android it taking on his shape and you see it all pale and pulsing--with gooo??? all over it
