Oh man The Last Starfighter I loved that movie when I little.
Its not a movie or really deals with games but I remember seeing the video Money for nothing by Dire Straits and was wishing games would look as cool as the video.

But I'll add in Toys. That Robin Williams film about the toy company. Remember how the bad guys take it over and make it into a company that makes bombers for the military that are controlled by kids playing videogames? Yup, Videogames can tury innocent children into rutheless killers.

The only movies based on video games that have any resemblence to something decent is the first Mortal Kombat, and Final Fantasy, and I can't even call them that much above mediocre. Everything else is pretty terrible from Resident Evil to Mario Bros, to Tomb Raider. Nothing based off a video game that I've seen, and I've skipped many for good reason, would I rate higher than a 6/10.
