So, since school's out for a bunch of people already, I had the brilliant idea to share this little tradition of mine I've been doing for the past few years. Every summer, I usually try to finish all the games I've bought during the past year that I couldn't finish because of homework and other boring stuff like that. I also replay a few games that I feel like should have been played more than twice or more but never had the time to complete them many many times because of, once again, boring stuff. I prefer doing the latter, because I know those games bring back a lot of memories from the good old times! =P
Lately, this is the list of games I've been playing/replaying for the past two weeks:
- Bionic Commando Rearmed (Already finished it)
- Terminator Salvation (Never finished it)
- Bionic Commando (New one, never finished it)
- Wanted: Weapons of Fate (Never finished it)
- The Chronicles of Riddick - Escape from Butcher Bay & Assault on Dark Athena (Never finished them)
- The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Never finished it, shame on me because I discovered a true gem!!)
- The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Already finished it)
I want to play/replay all those games before the end of summer:
- The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker (Already finished it, not 100% though)
- Paper Mario (Never finished it, I was half-way in the game)
- Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door (Already finished it... just replaying for the awesome writing in this game!)
- Super Paper Mario (Already finished it)
- Super Mario RPG: The Legend of the Seven Stars (Already finished it)
- Ōkami (Never finished it... almost though!)
- Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World (Never finished it)
- Crackdown (Never finished it)
- Saint's Row (Never finished it)
- Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn (Never finished it)
- Mega Man ZX Advent (Never finished it)
- Pokémon Diamond (Never finished it, was half-way in the game)
- many many more to come!
Right now, I'm replaying The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess. Such a great game that I only finished three times.
For the games I've been replaying, I discovered many new things I never noticed before. Oh yeah, and when I replay the games, I try to collect everything, I don't try to rush this time around. Feels like I'm discovering a new game again! Best example is in The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. I think the last time I finished this game was 5 years ago and I "speed-runned" the game if I remember correctly. This time, I took the time to talk to pretty much all the NPC (I did that when I was around 8 years old, barely understood English at the time), I even used the Mask of Truth for the first time in my life (believe it!) and the most shocking thing for me was to figure out that most of the Sages are actually dead (like Darunia... he tried to fight Volvagia, really? Or Nabooru, ouch!). I always thought they were just teleported to the Chamber of the Sages or something! After redoing the last few hours of the game, this is definitely the best game ever made. Such a fantastic ending, I remember why it blew my mind when I was a kid! xD
With all this said, for all the people that are done school, what games are you planning to play/what did you play already this summer? Are you going back to your old games as well? For all the people that are not done school yet, I ask you the same questions... and don't give up guys!

Why is Bionic Commando Rearmed 2 getting so much hate? We finally get a real game and they're not even satisfied... I'm starting to hate the gaming community so f****** much...
