SATs are meaningless. Everybody your age will talk about it to compare their scores and try to feel better than each other for about a year. Then nobody will ever talk about it again unless you become president.

I don't know, it's fun to flaunt good score for a few years into college at least. Though they are pretty ultimately meaningless.

The SAT is a measure of memorization, not intelligence, which i always disliked.

Also the English portions were ridiculous, some of the words they gave you you would see once, for that test, and never do it again. The Math part was reasonable though.

I think i got a 710 in Math and around 600 in English, it's a useless test and should be gotten rid of.

Right now i'm going to be preparing for the GRE, gonna be much worse heh.

Actually I'd say it's measure of knowledge, not memorization, as you have no idea what will be on the test. You also have all the math formulae you need provided. The part's where you can't draw on your own knowledge require inferencing and intelligent deductive abilities.

But yeah, it's an overrated piece of shit, and should be massively updated if not abolished.

Yeah... I can't say it's a memorization test. I suck at memorization and i did pretty well without even studying.

The point is generally that's all stuff you should of been taught for 4+ years. So stuff that you should know.

It's really a way to weed out those who CAN memorize then quickly forget, and those who actually remember what they've learned.
