Forums - Microsoft - I have to say it, 2010 will be the year of the xbox 360!

Wow the OP is highly speculative.. I can do that too! It's quite clear that 2010 will be the year of the Wii:

Hardware: NEW Wii COLOURS - Black, Blue..

- Super Mario Galaxy 2

- Metroid: Other M

- The Legend of Zelda: Wii

- Wii Vitality Sensor Title

- Pikmin 3

- Retro Studios NEW IP

- Super Paper Mario 2/Fire Emblem Wii

- WarioWare/Mario Party 9

- Sin and Punishment 2

- Endless Ocean 2: Beautiful Ocean

- Monado: Beginning of the World

- No More Heroes 2

- Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles

- Gladiator AD

- The Grinder

- Monster Hunter 3 Tri~ (Western Release)

And a shitload of third party games we don't know about yet.. Trust me, the First party line up will be amazing and the third party presence on Wii will double from what it is this year at the very least.

That's the most epic year ever. It's possible that yes, Zelda may indeed be delayed, I hope it takes as long as it needs in development. However there will be a huge amount of titles to cover for it. In fact Zelda may be too much on top of all the other titles on the way.

uhhh Wii ftw.

It's all about the game.

I also think theres a good possibility of a price cut next fall. Even if It's just to $180 MS can make a big impact, especially if It's to $150. Getting in the PS2 price range will give MS the ability to capture pretty much every market, and most people buy a new XBox outright if theres RRODs and is past the warranty (I know a lot of people who would do this) cuz MS charges $100 + box for repairs and only gives them three month warranties, where as new system gives three years for E74 and RROD for $199.

It's just that simple.

People doubted DS, Wii Remote and Balance Board.. I understand Nintendo haven't shown the software for the Vitality Sensor and so people doubt it'll do anything but trust me, it'll be a major release next year, it'll be the next major Wii Series title and will work damn well for it's intended audience.

Exactly. It'll work well "for it's intended audience". I wish old ladies hadn't become Nintendo's target audience.

It's all about the game.

I updated OP a little

@toastboy: It's easy create these lists for any console. And most of those games are also released on PS3 so those shouldn't even be on the list. Heck, there are several games which are released on Wii too (at least PES, FIFA, Madden, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, probably even COD7). Anyway, it's still too early to tell because at least some of these games are going to be delayed past 2010 and there are some games which aren't even announced yet.

Why are people trying to counter this thread with their posts from the "I have to say it, 2009 is the year of PS3!" posts?

I mean, those ARE all the games that you've all been listing in all those threads for five months now, aren't they?

Believing in the PLAYSTATION®3......IS.......S_A_C_R_I_L_E_G_E

You're title says "I have to say it" Actually...you don't. You want to say it.
