Splinter Cell and Uncharted definitely deserved it imo.

Assassin's Creed 2 and Bayonetta are two different kinds of games. Bayonetta is more a straight up action game like Devil May Cry (but with fewer puzzles, according to the Play Magazine cover article, but more hyper kinetic action), and Assassin's Creed 2 is an action adventure game. Actually, Uncharted 2 is also more of an action adventure game than a straight up action game.
