Forums - PC - Can My PC Run Mass Effect?

I looked up the requirments but i'm not sure. This is what i have:

GeForce 7600 GT

DX 9.0

XP

AMD 64 Athlon X2

(I should have enough memory for it)

I don't know what else i need. Let me know if these work or if there is something else i need. All i know is my Computer can run Oblivion, because i have that game.

Thanks that's a great site. I passed. My CPU speed is great. lol

I have a q6600 with 8600gt and it ran ok, I think it will handle if you're playing 800x600

But war... war never changes

Your specs may be sufficient but that's no gaurantee it'll run on your computer. The game just flat out doesn't work for some people (including me) and there still hasn't been a fix or even an explanation.

So, good luck :P

Hmm CPU is fine but 640x480 or 800x600 will be max you can do with this card.

You just need a GPU upgrade and then everything will be good for pretty much all modern games. You can get one for

Tease.

it should run on low.

Thanks for the help. I probably won't get it. I mean i want it, but my computer is all messed up anyway. It always freezes, i think there is something wrong with my graphics card. I will probably wait and get a new PC after october since i hear windows 7 will come out.

I guess it's obvious i won't be able to play Alan Wake either, but that won't come out until next year so i should have my new PC by then. But Alan Wake is looking scary, scary games make it hard for me to get through. Cause their scary. lol
