Wii Sports Resort?

Then again DotNW put up some really impressive numbers. One of the best selling Tales games.....I think lol.

EDIT - In all honestly I dont see WSR and WF+ doing anything special. Slight bump here and there I would be surprised if it hit a million in Japan.
Id rather not predict those games though because you can never tell.

The only game set to release this year that will have an impact worth talking about is FF13, GT is a possibility but I'm doubting it will come this year, they couldn't even have more than a short trailer at E3 that had plenty of CG in it.

MH I am expecting about 1.5-2M lifetime, as for DQ I think 5 is a reasonable even if it is a bit high. DQVIII was 4M in japan, I think a DS version could exceede this. I would say between 4-5m is a fine guess.

This thread is filled with some crazy ass predictions.

6 million DQIX, 5 million FFXIII, 3 million MH3 - It's like someone has just overheard people on the internet saying that FF, DQ and MH are big in Japan and started predicting based solely on that.

Prepare for a string of dissapointments this year.

Yea well read and only pay attention to the smart predictions not the delusional ones.

And I think only one or two people made those so yea...youre making out to be more than it is.

I have always said that it would be a huge disappointment for SE if DQ9 does not sell at least 4 million units. So your expectation is about the same as mine.

However, I think MH3 would creak 1 millions lifetime but not much more. Since only Wii Sports and Wii Fit has sold over 3 million units this gen, I think 3 millions for MH3 is just way too high.

Even if WSR and WF+ "only" sell 1 million each in Japan, they would still be considered success.

(FUN FACT:New Super Mario Bros. sold better then every Final Fantasy game in Japan. The same is true of Wii Fit with the exception of FF7. Also, Gran Turismo isn't a big franchise in Japan. It's sales come namely from Europe/Australia)
