So I have a desktop PC and want to simultaneously hook up my pc speakers and my stereo speakers. As of right now I have to manually switch out the plugs to listen to one or the other. Anything I can do to have them hooked up and working at the same time?

I had the same issue, so I just picked up one of these doohickeys right here:

Also, depending on your stereo receiver, you can use the SP/DIF connector if you have one.
