Project Natal Exercise Video could be the killer ap (assuming it just doesn't fizzle out)

 

I can see the popularity of Wii Fit. But Imagine an exercise video that talks to you when it sees you touch your toes or can comment on well you are exercising. Too fast or too slow? With voice recognition you can just tell it to slow down, or to change the exercise. It could even count along with you as you do jumping jacks.

The the real killer ap though is virtualy trying on virtual clothes, because all woman like to shop too much :)

Well, with the success of Wii Fit, I'm sure they've thought about it. That's something even my video game hating wife would play.

I'm pretty sure they don't have any games planned. I mean, judging by what they showed at the conference, they're at an early concepting and tech demo stage. It'll be another 2 or 3 years before that thing hits the store shelves. They have plenty of time to think about games.



Wii has more 20 million sellers than PS3 has 5 million sellers.

My wife already told me if they made an exercise "game" she would want one. She doesn't have an interest in video games.

You havent got a clue have you. You should research before posting.

IGN after hands on said " We have played it not on a dev kit, but an actual every day 360 like the one you have at home. It worked with no hitches and their are already alot of games that have been in development for Natal. We are gonna be seeing them very soon." EA also have had the tech for sometime. Burnout was fully working with the game exactly like the demo footage on stage.

3 years LOL. This will be out before the next E3. M$ will not have another E3 before Natal releases. Also media in UK has M$ saying out this Autumn.

I cant believe you think M$ will hold back tech that is all but finished and games which are a couple of months away from being shown till after E3 next year? This tech is not half way to working like Sony's Wii motion copier. This is fully working in game environments. We saw that with Ricochet and Milo. We saw it fully navigating the dashboard in realtime. We saw an entire paint program running live with no problems. This is real NOW. Not some development stage.
