Yeah well Microsoft is going to have to get their next system right, thats for sure. But at the price of getting a arcade (usually on sale here in the US, dell had them for $160 plenty of times) and a hard drive refurb or used off eBay for $25 or less shipped It's no biggie for me if I had to buy another. But the first three years were hell for me when it came to RROD warranty.
Oh and my Wii has the over heated graphics card issue. It looks like dead pixels on my screen. Wii still works but It's rather annoying in certain games.
Sega had the worst luck with me. Dreamcast, Saturn, Gamegear all died on me.
But yeah my XBox still runs like a champ. I know in the long run the hard drives will fail but you can replace them, and some DVD drives go. But no faulty hardware issues - XBox was a beast.
Gamecube also runs damn well, but the thing is useless now thanks to the Wii. Well not entirely useless because It has the GBA player which can play all my GBA games and older classic Gameboy games to.
It's just that simple.
