Instead of calling it a flop why not call it what it was which was a buggy mess?

And excuse me for assuming you meant sales. What could have given me that impression... /looks at op

My original quote:

SOCOM flopped hard thanks to the awful preliminary glitches and the long time it took to patch everything.

Do you not see I gave the reasons I believed it flopped in that very message?  I did not say it flopped because the sales were bad.

But this thread is solely about sales... that was into you made it about a game being glitchy

How can it be moving the goal posts if there was no field set up in the first place? Thats just you guys trying to be smart asses

You sort of setup the field by basing this off of sales, then kept changing the finer definition of what you meant by making exceptions as to why this game could not be compared with sales of the rest of them.

If there is no field, then there is no means with which to call it a success or a flop... and all of this would be pointless.

So then is SOCOM Confrontation neither a success nor a flop?

Come on man, man up on this one. You said "Yep.  It flopped big time.  A huge flopping failure." then posted a list of it's sales and past SOCOM sales. It doesn't get any more obvious then that.

Uh, again my first post was merely following along with the people who were talking about online only 360 games.  It was not a response to the sales part of the OP.  You should have followed this, no?

And then you said that L4D made by valve is an exception, not a rule, which I understood it as a rare good online only game that was not very common.  So I asked you which games on the PS3 were online only and good, but you never really answered that part because you chose to focus my last statement which was, again, not really having anything to do with the OP which you should have understood.

I took that route only as a response to JEDE3's challenge.  I showed him how compared to the other SOCOM games, it was not exactly a high note.

i think shadowrun could have done a lot better if it was released at a better price.
