I think I was on the verge of being banned, because I was going pretty crazy at the Sony Conference thread.
Basically, I don't think many people (me included) really wanted to see the motion controls or mod nation, so I gave a crack at Sony for that in that thread. Really, I'm sure the fanboys wanted to see it to see if it could out do nintendo and MS efforts, but if they really wanted it, they would have bought a Wii already (right). I was disappointed in both MS and Sony for that, but at least with MS it looked like a project that was further into development and Milo was amazing (whether you believe it was real or not).
As for mod nation, we've had wacky customiseable racers before, there's bound to be heaps online for this. As a PS3 owner, I didn't want this, I wanted to see more uncharted, GoW III and Last guardian (which they did show afterwards), so I voiced (rather harshly) my opinion. I wasn't impressed with MS Joyride either (and I said it in the MS thread).
Both seemed like they were trying to capture Mario Karts market with games that would have been wildly available in some (more likely than not, more complete) form on the internet. This wasn't LBP, cutesy but with a tonne of innovation, this was just cutesy with nothing innovative.
Don't think that sat too well with the Sony fans there (I said the same thing about Joyride, just not as much because I was disappointed the 2 worst parts of Sony's conference were lumped together. But I'm guessing none of them cared to notice that.), so I was labelled a troll (I admit, rightly so for being overly harsh but not for my opinion, because I did overreact).
I was banned for less than 24 hours during this E3. First time ever...
Evan Wells (Uncharted 2): I think the differences that you see between any two games has much more to do with the developer than whether it’s on the Xbox or PS3.

Another plus for the M$ conference was that Joyride is at least free!!
yeah, bot those games looked gimmicky, but fun. Oh, I was only on a 12 hour ban myself.
