Yea, the videos thing is cool. I also like the menu on the left that changes based on what you search. If you put in "Ford", you get different menus then if you put in "Mac Book Air".

I will try it for a while and see. The one thing I have against it, is MS spent billions on it to try and take down Google. They knew going in that they will never see a profit off of it, they just did it to take down another company. Google is a threat to there core business.

Not a fan of those kinds of business practices. You want to beat Google in the OS and Office apps department, make better OS's and App's. Don't try and win by destroying the company income stream.

Wow. This is the dumbest thing I have heard in a while.

I would recommend in the same spirit, that you ask your employer to pay you in semi precious stones, as everyone else uses Money, so why would you want to do that?

Money seems to be the thing everyone trades with, thus you must dislike it?

Nope.

I dislike some of Googles practices in relation to freedom of speech and the Chinese government as well as their annoying advertising words. So as a participant in the free market I choose to use an alternative which isn't Google.

Tease.

^ why not yahoo?

That's a different reason then saying you dislike them because everyone uses them (your first answer)

As for me, I just saw an ad tonight which was the first time I'd heard of it. I was like "WTF? Is this a lifestyle advice thing or ... wait is it a search engine??" The ad was full of people talking like it had turned their lives around.

I'll check it out next time I'm searching for video, but I'm frankly probably biased against it just because the ad annoyed me.

"I don't like it because everyone else does" is a valid reason.

Everybody is entitled to their opinion, whether or not you think it's the "correct" one.

We'll miss you George.

Not really... Their actions in my mind are linked to their market dominance. If they were not so dominant they would not act in such an annoying fashion. I don't mind Microsofts market dominance (If thats your next point) because they give a lot of money to charitable causes and because my disabled friend benefits from their excellent voice recognition software built into Windows Vista 64.

Tease.

Why is it a valid reason? Explain it to me.
