Forums - Sony - After Rising A MGS5 Exclusive For The PS?

What Yall Thinking?I think Hideo is very loyal to Sony and that Rising is coming out to the X360 is not so bad because in my opinion its only a Spin-Off to the normal Franchise!I guess after Rising comes a MGS5 with Big Boss or The Boss...something like that only for the PS3 that will tell a lot of missing storys from the 30s - 60s like MGS3 did!

MGS Rising isn't a proper MGS game, it's going to be a hack n slash game it looks like. That isn't MGS. If he's making a similar game for the PS3, hope to god it is exactly what MGS4 is, just with a different story and better graphics.

I think that the story of Solid Snake is over, so there will be no "MGS5"

Also, how can you call MGS:R a spinoff when you don't even know what the story is about yet? If the story chronicles Raiden's journey to get Sunny back from the Patriots, it wouldn't be a spinoff, would it?

No the PS3 is not getting no MGS exlcusives ever again and you can quote me on that. Kojima will come on stage today to show the PSP game and I cannot wait for people to go rabid and say "the prick announced a PSP game and not a PS3 game such FAIL!"

Rising is a multi-plat game and that PSP game being made by the MGS4 team is exclusive....like it or lump it.

Id say its more a gaiden than a spin off. I really hope in the future though they get rid of the "Solid" since solid snake has officially retired.

Dont say that...look if u can play The Boss in the 2nd World War where u fight with The Sorrow and u find out more about the Patriots and Zero and things like that its still a Prequel to all MGS and would be a MGS5 like 3 was a MGS3 you know what i mean?

I'm not sure we can make assumptions as to what type of game it is yet.

MGS4 could be deemed lightning bolt action for the most part if you played it that way (which, I might add, adds to the charm of the game, the different ways you could approach a situation).

Also, the trailer ended with MS slogan "Jump In" reworded as "Sneak In".

You or the OP dont know that..second by now, if there still some ppl out there who think a exclusive is MGS is gonna be announced during SONY's conference...WAKE UP!!!...not happening, but MGS PSP Will Which is rumored to be a sequel to MGS not a Big Boss game

Sony fanboys will alway find a good side like "oh we have a psp mgs" like ps3 and psp were the same console.

But war... war never changes

Unfortunately, if - and only if - this game is multiplat, I think I agree.  I think Rising is their 'entrance' to the 360 market with the franchise, and while PS3 may get a timed exclusive, MGS - if the story isn't finished - will be multiplat from now on.  I hope I'm wrong, but that's the vibe I get.  Unfortunately, that also means longer between releases - much longer.  I don't see Kojima ditching quality for a 360 version, so we're going to have to wait until the 360 port is made to his standards and compressed to stay on as few discs as possible at the same time.  This is where timed exclusive may come in, I think.
