Microsoft started E3 off with a bang. Among many titles presented, the one surely to gain the most approval was the new Halo 3: ODST.
There were some things however, that were not talked about on stage. So let’s take a few moments to take a closer look at what ODST will bring to fans in September.
Content Heavy
Fans will be excited to learn that, not only do they get what looks to be a smash hit, when they buy the game they will also get a separate multiplayer disc that contains three new “Halo 3” multiplayer maps, all original “Halo 3” maps, as well as the “Legendary,” “Heroic,” and “Mythic” Map packs for a total of 24 maps.
New Multiplayer Mode
With this release, the Halo franchise will get a new multiplayer mode called “Firefight” which will pit up to fore players against increasing difficult waves of enemies. As you progress various skulls are turned on adding to the chaos.
Beta Key to Halo: Reach.
Everyone who buys ODST will be able to play the multiplayer beta of the new Halo: Reach due out sometime in 2010.

Last but certainly not least, fans will have the choice of purchasing the standard game which comes complete with all the above, or they can purchase the “Shock Bundle” which includes a special edition ODST controller. Honestly, who is not going to buy this thing?
