Yeah...WWE is all clunky and laughable. UFC Undisputed actually deserves props for being the first proper sport fighting game in a long time.

I actually didnt like the UFC game despite being a huge MMA fan.

I dont have a specific team in mind for development, but IMO EA is always much better than THQ when it comes to:

Physics. Menus. Career mode. Create-A-Player mode. Realism. Online. All of which were lacking in Undisputed.


I really do hope their MMA game is better than what THQ just gave us, and hopefully EA can aquire the UFC franchise if their MMA game is top notch.

Ah right, because we all know that as years pass only steady improvement happens in series. It's not like anything old is inherently still playable, possibly still remarkable and should be compared to the wickedly awesome games of today. Me comparing a new UFC game to the considerably well done early efforts of Smackdown that are treasured far more than the newer ones are is obviously a slight against said UFC game and not in any way a badge of honor.

I wish. I'm in Australia so the game doesn't come out for another 2 days. Since that just happens to right at the beginning of my exams, I had to restrain myself from pre-ordering it. I finished the demo like 5 times...and just want to finish the exams and platinum Infamous.

I noticed you left gameplay off your list. Then again, who needs superior gameplay when you can have superior menus?

EA could have a classic on their hands if they can combine superior gameplay with superior menus, some nice graphics, and tons of modes. We'll just have to wait for their next announcement regarding it. UFC Undisputed was definitely a step (or maybe a leap) in the right direction though.
