It has been known for quite some time Kojima is tired of making the Metal Gear Solid series, even saying Metal Gear Solid 3 was the last Metal Gear Solid game back in the day. Metal Gear Solid 4 was released and it ended the story of Solid Snake.

So I was thinking, Metal Gear Solid is about Solid Snake, correct? So if Solid Snake's story is over, doesn't that mean Metal Gear Solid is over?

Metal Gear Rising may be the next series of Metal Gear, taking the place of the Metal Gear Solid series.

Edit: What I'm saying is there may be no MGS5, ever.

He really should have taken "Solid" of the title. Metal Gear is what people recognize the most anyways. Not to mention that Lightning Bolt Action subtitle or whatever. Im hyped.

Well I pretty much think so and I know Kojima wont disappoint so I cant wait.

I wouldnt mind Kojima making an action Metal Gear but Im sure purist would go crazy.

I think MGR is going to be about stealth still, but instead of using guns like Snake did your weapons will be Raiden's sword and maybe some other ninja tools.

I find it hard to make a stealth game when Raiden was such a bad ass I think people are expecting to play with him like in MGS4. But no one can tell right now.

It would be great if Kojima released some sort of gameplay video before E3 ends, but I know that it isn't going to happen. The reason I believe it will have at least some sort of stealth element is because that is what the Metal Gear games have been about really. I would find it hard to believe that Kojima would make MGR purely action-based.

I hope it's going to be on the ps3 aswell.. afterall the entire mgs fanbase is there so it would be kind of stupid of them to not have it on there :p Just my opinion.

Well youre right about that. MG is stealth not action. We just have to wait.....another god damn year. >.< Damn Kojima..
