Forums - Microsoft - So, no one is interested in Splinter Cell?

Not impressed? Damn, I was blown away! It's my next most anticipated game after Mass Effect 2!

It's probably going to be the first Splinter Cell game I play too. Did we know about his daughter getting killed in the other games and I just got this spoiled right at the beginning?

No, this happens sometime after Double Agent or maybe even during Conviction. It was unknown to anyone up until the demo. Conviction was originally going to be some Bourne Identity rip-off, but they heard the fan disapproval and turned it back into a traditional Splinter Cell type of game, while still keeping the rebellious undertone by having Sam Fisher on a personal mission against his former agency.

I finished all the other games. I am interested, Splinter Cell Conviction looks fantastic.

Day 1 for me :)

Splinter Cell is definitely top on my list of games to get. I don't understand why people wouldn't be excited about it. I think however that because it had been declare 360 exclusive since a long time ago all the attention is on Metal Gear thanks to Sony fanboys that claimed we would never get it in our system

What are you looking at, nerd?

To me, it was the Splinter Cell I've always wanted but never got. Its like Splinter's Creed Conviction, one part Splinter Cell, one part Assasin's Creed, one part badass. The only reason I'm not as psyched for it now as I was is because the Alan Wake gameplay came right after it ^_^

Regardless, those two have often been used in the same sentence together...I don't know why, but when I think of Alan Wake I think of SCC, and vice versa. And damn they do not disappoint, at least from the videos.

Ya know, its funny. An announcement like Left 4 Dead 2 from Valve would have made such a huge splash last E3, but at this E3 there was so much amazing stuff its not really that big of a deal it seems. MS E3 has already been bigger then all of last years E3's combined. I can only imagine how huge nintendo and Sony's E3s will be. This is one HELL of an E3!

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

I'd be more interested in it if it weren't XBox360 exclusive. Where's the PS3 love? The game looks pretty sweet though, and the pretargetting thing looks pretty cool. I wonder how they are going to balance it though. Seems like it could be potentially game breaking, so I'm interested to see what they do to try to limit it's effectiveness.

I wasn't interested in Splinter Cell Conviction, but wow, the E3 showing really impressed me. The in-game narrative looks great, as well as the gameplay. This is a first day buy :).

Yeah it looks good, i just hope its much better than Double Agent, which was awful.
