More clothing options for Xbox 360 avatars are on the way, according to Microsoft. 


Xbox Live general manager Mark Whitten today confirmed that avatar clothing will soon be unlockable by way of in-game achievements. Halo 3: ODST-themed clothing was demonstrated, with an avatar dressed in Spartan recon clothing and driving a mini remote-controlled Warthog. 

Also in the works for avatars is a store that will allow players to purchase clothing.

You don't need to buy clothers :). For you it maybe doesn't sound appealing but I am pretty sure their are people who like to buy some special stuff.

Earning clothes with unlocking achievements could be great for some games and will make unlocking achievements only more addicting.

Just a question for you and I don't mean to take a jab at you or anything.  But, do you ever say anything nice about the 360?  With a gamerscore as high as you have, surely you must play it a lot.  I just don't think I have ever seen you post anything positive about the 360.

I will never buy avatar clothes.

I don't mind paying for stuff if it's cool. I used to buy gamer pictures and themes all the time.

That would be cool to have some unlockable clothes :)
