None. But that's because I live in Malta where only the Playstation consoles are sold. I only saw ONE store with a Wii in display as well as an Xbox premium in the back of the store. Nothing more.

I was about 20th in line for the midnight release and I saw four people walk out of Gamestop with a new Elite... out of 20 people before me. There were about 200 people in line.

I think this game is going to move A LOT of consoles.

Few know Halo, except the web connected guy like us which are mainly american.
I mean, except the microsoft hype behind this game (thx money), it is a non-event out of America/UK. ...

It will move some unit ... but mostly in NA.

and definivively, in NA, it will own the Wii for some week (and the PS3 ofc).

libell - Despite your negativity, Halo3 will still move consoles outside of the US and UK. The US and UK accounted for about 7.6m copies of Halo2 - 1m copies were sold outside of those areas, and will do very well in Austrialia, NZ, and should do decent in Germany too.

Out of the few few co-workers I have, atleast 1-2 said they will buy a X360 for Halo3 exclusively. The one I know made that statement is a rather hardcore Sony guy, but can't afford a PS3 - so he's going to get a X360 + Halo3.

Sounds like Halo3 moved some MAJOR hardware last night. Definately a kick-in-the-pants that the X360 needs.

Sounds like Sept. NPD will have a new console champ.

Maybe they bought it the day before LOL.  Who wants to waste time buying the system when buying the game if you can buy the system ahead of time.  I can't wait for the numbers to see which is the case.
