Forums - Gaming - Reasons why EA Sports ignoring Wii?

If you think EA doesn't know how to make money, how do you think they got to where they are today?

I think their main issue is that they has zero investment in Wii on release. Meanwhile, they've already spread their resources thin on 360/ps6. I am sure they are diverting resources as fast as they could and we will see zomg of games coming to the Wii soon.

Around the Network

I'm not a sports gamer...unless you count wrestling. The SNES was not a sport gamer's system. Neither was the N64. Neither was the 'Cube. Gamers who were heavy into Madden, or Fifa, or Fight Night have always gravitated towards Sega, Sony, or Microsoft's systems. Nintendo's sports games were always the worst. I would go as far as to say "If you really like sports video games, don't buy a Nintendo console." It doesn't suprise me that EA Sports (or even 2K Sports) doesn't have a strong Wii line-up. That's been a Nintendo weakness for DECADES! Still, like I said before, I don't buy sports games, so I don't care.
