halo is already released ? i thought it was wednesday ?

Well if Amazon Japan is anything like Amazon in North America then that statement is common for any item not yet released. That is actually one of the more enlightened features of Amazon. Some people do not want a pending charge. That is a valid concern a month or even two months before something becomes available. You might order something for launch and in the time frame forget about it making it a problem if your low on funds at the time they charge you.

Amazon has many great systems in place to help you order in the way that most suits your needs. From super saver, wish lists, focused mailings, personalized selections. The list of tools is huge. This just seems to be one of them. Not doubting they could have sold out, but there is a logical standard explanation for the notification.

It could just be they stopped taking pre-orders for it.

The big JP electronics store I pre-ordered my Halo LE from had only the LE  listed when I pre-ordered it awhile back, but last month they stopped taking pre-orders for the LE and listed the regular edition for pre-order and just recently stopped taking pre-orders for it, like 1-2 days ago.The LE and regular version were the same price too. (No legendary edition here)

The Halo LE was the #1 pre-order game(out of all games) on their site, until they stopped taking pre-orders for it, then the Halo regular edition took over the #1 spot, until the pre-orders stopped for it too.
