it will fall. halo 3 is new n bioshock is old. halo will pass bioshock's worldwide sales with usa sales alone in just over a week.

is there anybody that beat bioshock who still plays it or hasn't traded it in?

And Fonz I know Bioshock will not sell anything like H3 but I also don´t think the rise of one will let another fall, sure most people will be happy with H3 for a while but lots of singleplayers will want a longer game pretty soon and hardly anybody who buys a new console only gets one game for it, I think three games for a new console is normal.  

I thought xbox360 catered to multiplayer with live 1st ... single player 2nd. Arent the highest selling games[on 360] all multiplayer?

graw2, r6 vegas, gears of war, & halo 3 are the reasons most people bought the system, fact. Sure 1 player is good, but its just practice until u have enough skill for multiplayer on xbox live.


Oh and i bet u will stop playing bioshock altogether b4 nov. and move on to the next game. There There dont worry i also had that feeling after beating Ocarina of Time, Chrono Trigger, and ff5-7.

but to be fair:

in nov/dec. there most likely will be a $15 price cut[on bioshock] b4 xmas to boost sales.

You need to remember......

Bioshock *does* have the advantage of being the highest-rated game of the year, and probably will finish #1 on the X360 rankings, and possibly at the end of the year, even after SMG and SSBB hit.

That definately should count for a huge bit, despite pessimism on the fact it's SP-only. I don't remember SP-only hurting a short-er game like Dead Rising.

You know, that's a good point... I wondered why there wasn't a 4th SKU -- The Halo Trilogy -- or something along those lines... Maybe it is still in the works but I would think that it would sell fairly well to first time 360 users that didn't have an original Xbox.  They can fight the fight start to finish...

Maybe they will re-render Halo 1 and 2 in higher resolution and do some light graphical improvement and then release it...  There is still a lot of milk in that cow, lol...

I think the first couple weeks that Halo is released it will drop but then it will rise back up. Im probally wrong but thats what im guessing.

i also agree. i can see the holiday sale now: buy halo 3 and get trilogy (halo 1, 2, and maps) for 10 bucks
