sexy 1080p 60fps awesomeness.

now release date. between Q4-2009 Q1-2010

DUDE, i have to work!! i don't have enough money for the games i will play on that time!! so many!
GT5 , God of war 3, uncharted 2, Dissidia, Birth by Sleep, 358/2 days, WKC, Final fantasy xiii.

The game is not 1080p and its not 60 fps

GT5 Prologue = 1080p mode is 1280x1080 (2xAA) in-game while the garage/pit/showrooms are 1920x1080 with no AA. 720p mode is 1280x720 (4xAA)

Its 1080p during the show room and replays

The game is 60fps, the replays are 30fps.

It is also 1080p. Perhaps before you go around spouting crap you should do some research.

That is my research, 1280x1080 is not 1080p    ,1980x1080 is 1080p   maybe you should read my post before you sprout your crap.   I knew the replays were 30 fps but ok ill give it to you during gameplay is 60 fps.   PS3 is simply upscaling 1280 to 1920.

1382400 Pixels that GT5 is running (1280x1080)

2073600 Pixels in 1080p (1920x1080)

Huge difference so don't try telling its close, causes its not.

they is a little performance hit and it looks good on a sony bravia 1080p TV. ;) showing 1920x1080p most of the time.

both GT5Prologue and Wipeout HD!.

The game does, for the most part, run in full 1080p. However, when the action becomes too intense, the game will downscale the resolution. It appears the PS3 figures out exactly what resolution the game needs to run at frame-by-frame to ensure the game's 60fps count is never broken. "Rather than introduce dropped frames, slow down or other unsavoury effects, the number of pixels being rendered drops and the PS3's horizontal hardware scaler is invoked to make up the difference. It's an intriguing solution that works with limited impact on the overall look of the game"

It appears the lowest resolution  can render in is 1280x1080, which is still a 50% increase over 720p. The end result is something gamers, regardless of their AV tech knowledge, can truly appreciate.

still WAY over 720p forza 2 and any other racing game. all in HDR lighting and 60fps

Yay. God of War is still the one I want though
