Forums - Sony - Bought Infamous only to find blank TDK cd inside ! Help !

I hope that someone out there bought a case of TDK blank CD's and got a case of Infamous'. I worked for walmart a few years back and a guy came back for a return on a nintendo game, because all that was inside was a ten pack of foreign AA batteries. He said to us, 'you'll never believe this,' and we said, 'this isn't the first time'. BTW it's way more likely that they were stolen upstream of the store level employees.

Am I the only one that wondered if this guy was just seeing if he could get an extra copy of Infamous for free by claiming he got ripped off?

Not accusing you of it, but I mean, it DOES seem possible.

Well actually both cases seem possible.

Happens from time to time, given that it's such a new game someone probably swapped the disks at a distribution center. Just go back with a receipt, whine until you get to a manager, whine some more and if that doesn't work call the corporate office,

go to the store to exchange it. if the refuse ask to speak to management if they refuse complain, write their names down, and corporates phone number

call corporate headquarters if the store doesnt allow you to return it and bitch your head off (not yelling or swearing just complaining) get the names of the employees you spoke with and report them...

youll get what you want

They should speak with management and calling the store manager works better than getting corp. involved and it's much faster.  If managment wont help ask for the Store Manager or a Co-Manager... only they can make decisions like this anyway.

This seems to be happening more and more. Does anyone remember the incident where a kid opened his Christmas Present..expecting a PS3 in the box...and finding a Yellow Pages inside. I bet there's a guy somewhere laughing his ass off right now at his 'ingenious' plan...

Just keep b*tchin at them you'll fight thru and win. An old lady argued at a walmart my friend worked at claiming that when she bought a PS3 and opened it at home it was just full of water bottles instead. Not sure how it worked cuz i thought you had to scan the actual PS3 system before selling it no?
