i've got an information from very credible source that at the end of Sony conference both Jack Tretton and David Reeves will go on stage naked, stick ps3 version of wiimotes up their butts and presents new ps3 motion sensing controlers with exclusive game. all this information is from a very credible source.

see, i can do this too, though i didn't put this on my blog or add cool picture to it.

there's no way epic could make permanent ps3 exclusive game. right now epic is second party MS developer so if epic would be working on anything new MS would know about it and probably secure it long before sony would find out about the existing game.

That does remind me to ask, what are the sources of this rumor? I hope its true, I'd love to see a new good horror game, exclusive or not.

Sorry? Epic is a Second Party developer for the 360?  Please clarify, I always thought them Third Party developers, only that their Gears franchised was bought by MS.  Am I mistaken?

They aren't second party full time. And Gears actually wasn't bought by MS, only published by them, which is why Gears could go to PS3.

Epic is second party developer they are making Gears of War series for MS(just like From Software was second party developer during Demon Souls development process) besides Epic and MS were always close so i doubt MS wouldn't know about their new game.

No!  You are incorrect Waron.  Epic is not a second party developer for MS, their Gears franchise is funded by MS, hence its exclusivity.  Other than that, Epic has no obligation towards MS.

maybe sony asked them to do a ps3 game and sony is paying the making of the game. that could be a possibility right?

If UT3 was sold on the 360 as a timed exclusive first, it would have sold 700k lifetime, with the ps3 version selling around 200k - 400k. I just don't think this blindly though:

1. this would have been coming off of the first gears of war, where they are known better than on the ps3.

2. 360 fans almost matched the sales from the ps3 even though it was released 6-8 months later.

3. You can also compare this game to bioshock sales, and see the effects of a delay.

4. shooterbox fans usually buy FPS's.. And every (almost?) FPS has sold better on the xbox 360.

No doubt this delay also hurt any chances of DLC for the game as an extra source of revenue, since the multiplayer community abandoned the game because by the time the game came out, much better shooters were on the way. Halo 3 being the highlight.

I would like to see your reasonings for why the xbox version didn't sell well and the amount the ps3 version sold was good though. This isn't cutting it, considering all the B*S* sony fans spill about the bioshock delay causing that big a loss in sales.
