Oh wait, it could be that Lords of Shadow game that he was overseeing....it was shown at a conference a few years back I think.

Alright I just went to the MGS teaser site (Don't have the link), but if you look closely at the Kojima Productions emblem at the bottom right hand corner, when the lightning flashes, the fox turns into one of those masks from the link I posted above. So very confused.

I must say I'm intrigued.

I think I may be on to something? When the mask flashes and at the lowest point of visibility the top of the mask doesn't really blacken, and I think it sort of looks like a fox facing toward you.
