This time the video shows the Staples Center in LA, CA.

Until they redeem themselves for DA (especially the bad porting for PS3), and for the horrible, horrible gameplay footage of Convictions a few years back, and return Sam Fisher where he really belongs (back in the shadows), then I won't be jealous about this game being exclusive.

Please, give us old Clancy-esque technothriller stories, with shadow/light+sound mechanics, instead of a Bourne-esque thriller, with social stealth+hand to hand combat.

This splinter cell story going to be deep i guess sam is looking for the people who killed his daughter

I thought the video was really good. But I would like to see more of the stealth gameplay that the orginal Splitner Cell had. Maybe they should add a new charater, like a rookie.

I actually won't mind to see a revamp of the series without Sam.

Sam is a very good character, one of the unconventional anti-heros in my opinion (an old cranky guy pretty much who never complained and did his duty, instead of some oiled up, muscular metrosexual guy, with some sappy tragic backstory... oh crap Sam has that now =/).

But the gameplay was the main thing that kept me coming back, and as long as they have similar themes, story lines, and GAMEPLAY, I wouldn't mind to see a new hero, perhaps acting as a foil to Sam (whether or not Sam is featured in the game or not... maybe he could become the new Lambert [I wished "best friend" was reffering to Shetland =/]), as long as they don't make him/her giddy, loud, and annoying.

Bolded are pretty much my thoughts exactly.  That way they can start completely fresh with a new storyline and not have to worry about continuity.

How many times did they change Sam's age? =/ I mean, Sam was pretty much at the end of the line in Chaos Theory, and it kinda reflects in the real world with the subsequent games.

@Akvod

If I recall correctly they just had him get older with each game, but it's been awhile since I've completed Chaos Theory and Double Agent so I could be mistaken.

From what I remembered Sam was nearing 60 in Chaos Theory, and at least the creators wanted to convey the feeling that Sam was really old now (him grunting for everything, even for pipe climbing).

He's like in his late 40's or early 50's now. Which is very old in real life terms, but it isn't the same as the old guy who had funny conversations with Grim about lasers being so 80's ("90's?") or him doing NAVY SEALS operations while Grim was still in Highschool ("yuck")

Chaos Theory is still the best Stealth Action game hands down
