I wouldnt trust this site as I cant find any other confirmation that there is indeed an SE press-conference on June 3rd. Not that I doubt that there is an MMo in the works, with the success that was FFXI it's obvious they are making a new one. This game was rumoured to be unveiled at E3 2009, and I can believe that it's PC/PS3. For MMORPGs - as long as they are on PC, they are fine.
It's been awhile since I stopped playing MMO games. I am looking for something new and exciting to start playing in 2010, currently mostly interested in Blade and Soul. But if this SE MMO impresses me, I will probably end up playing it instead.

Also part of the article makes no sense as SE's last MMO is on the Xbox 360 so why is it suddenly there are problems with Xbox Live? Is there anyone that seriously believes that Microsoft wouldn't bend over backwards for SE? Also the author of the article appears to be ignorant of the fact that MMOs can be played over Xbox Live without a gold subscription otherwise why even mentioned PSN being free? |
Not saying the article is true or whatever, but last time I checked, PC was a platform. Not been following Rapture close, so if they have said the game to be PS3/360 multiplatform feel free to correct me. Maybe they ecountered some LIVE problems with their last MMO and chose not to release this one on the 360. You never know.. Guess we won't know for sure until E3!
it was ffxiv!!! this is a big win for the ps3 and sony.
