people who voted for mgs4 as #1 are either:

1.) new to gaming, pretty much entered the generation in the mid ps2 times (prolly after san andreas), never experiencing the games from before.

2.) blind, diehard fanboys that are way too defensive about sony's being in third place so far.

seriously, mgs4 is nothing compared to the original MGS or MGS3. and that's only comparing with previous mgs installments. if you compare with other games of the past, especially those produced in the ps1 era and below, and an honest and down to earth fan won't ever vote for mgs4. the game is good, but it's very far from being the greatest game of all time.

MGS3 wasn't too great, very dragged out near the end. MGS started the series and will always be the best. MGS4 came close, but it just missed out.

BTW, MGS3 was easily the lowest rated game of the entire series. You people need to get over that game a bit, just because you got so emotionally attached to an average story...
