Well... new as in most recent. =P
I'm actually pretty confident my laptop could handle DoW, but all the expansions have progressively higher system requirements, and I'd almost certainly run into problems with my "incompatible with everything" screen3drivaccelatowhatchamacallit.
Rath, the downside in games like that is that loosing even a single unit feel like a catastrophe, and at least I end up saving/loading all the time with them. Never got too far with Ground Control, and still haven't finished Battle for Wesnoth. =/
