Forums - Sony - DON'T Play the InFamous Demo

You get most of the powers at their maximum level, and it kills the joy and sense of getting a new power in the full game (it feels like you're regaining recovering powers you lost).

Trust ther reviews and user feedback. The controls and shooting are very, very smooth, and the first boss fight was absolutely fun.

too late :/

Too late for me too. I wasn't planning on buying it though, so it's okay.

"Now, a fun game should always be easy to understand - you should be able to take one look at it and know what you have to do straight away. It should be so well constructed that you can tell at a glance what your goal is and, even if you don’t succeed, you’ll blame yourself rather than the game. Moreover, the people standing around watching the game have also got to be able to enjoy it." - Shiggy

Agree with you 100% on that. They should have just given a few powers in the demo as it does feel like your trying to gain back what you lost after going from the demo to the full game.

the demo put me off the game anyway.

i didnt like it

I hated it. And they were full power weapons? I hit the same guy about 5 times with that shock and he still didnt die. Silly weapon, maybe he was Electric type too... *Note to self, only fight Water Type with Electric Type*

Why not ? If i bought it I'd be seriously pissed for wasting cash and thanks to demo 30 pounds saved :)

It seems the only people you attracted in here hate the game itself, and don't dislike the demo for the reason you stated. That's unfortunate, but hey, that's them. This game is honestly the best sandbox game I've played this gen, eclipsing Saints Row 2

Sorry I have strong dislike for sandbox games unless they are great RPGs backed up by great story with multiple sidequests (think Fallout 2)
