Please watch this video, before you dismiss Heavy Rain as just being QTE like I did after only watching last year's E3:

I wasn't impressed with the latest batch of videos of Heavy Rain. The graphics weren't as stellar as shown before and the gameplay didn't appeal to me. I'm not calling it bad, but it's just not for me. I suppose Alan Wake wins by default, but I'll remain skeptical of Alan Wake.

I haven't seen enough to make any decisions yet.

Worth watching for anyone doubting Heavy Rain. 25 mins long, but worth it. Especially if you speak french.

Heavy rain will be better.

alan wake i think will have more common gameplay.

but heavy rain its different on all fronts.

Alan Wake all the way, I like to have full control over my characters also going by this video it has a larger world and greater distance view....... Heavy Rain's gameplay looked ok but, pressing buttons in advance to command your movements was not..

Heavy rain, but that video was very new, unlike Alan wakes.
Remedy won't even comment Alan Wake to our gaming sites anymore here in Finland..
