Forums - Gaming - Ruffian expands staff, “itching” to reveal current project

Ruffian Games has announced the hiring of 15 team members, increasing the size to 40 .

Formed in January, the studio is comprised of former Climax and Realtime Worlds members and is “itching” to dish about the project currently in development.

“We’ve come a long way in the last six months and have been overwhelmed by the number of developers keen to join our merry band,” studio head Gaz Liddon told GI.biz. “Now we’re in full production we’re itching to share the fantastic work these guys have been producing.

“Hopefully that won’t be too far away.”

This unannounced project already has “one of the world’s biggest and most successful publishers” attached to it, and is rumored to be an online game.

I wonder if E3 is too soon since they formed in January. On their site the past games list are all 360 exclusives, so I think it's safe to assume their publisher is Microsoft. Well, I hope they have something to show at E3.

The guy in the logo looks like he's holding a 360 controller. Also on their flickr page, the only console I saw in their new offices is a 360, they do have 1 photo of a bunch of ps2 dev kits.

I think it is probably the next rev of Crackdown...
