 Look, games aren't recession proof, but they(like most other entertainment forms) certainly have an advantage compared to other industries.

I think there's more to it then just that, but I agree that it is affecting gaming somewhat.



i thought it wasn't because last year sales were up and the recession had already started, but it seems like it may have be happening this year. Perhaps part of the reason is no GTA4, MKwii, brawl, and MGS4 in the first half of the year. I don't think this year had games that big in the first half at all.

No Shit! How could the recession be affecting the sales of gaming! I saw it coming when the recession first started. No industry is immune.
